Stained Glass Window of Africa
Circa – 1970 and 1980
British bespoke made luxury cushion created using superb contrasting vintage silks. The rare front side features the work of the celebrated Ethiopian artist Afewerk Tekle. The 1958 stained glass triptych was commissioned for Africa Hall in the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa. Complemented on the reverse in silk designed by the British company Beckford Silks.
